CrudeSorb® filtration media can be engineered to meet a variety of feed quality and operational conditions. The CETCO proprietary media can be delivered in radial-flow, non-ferrous canisters stacked in a compact configuration or as bulk filtration media bed for conventional filtration vessels. Our CrudeSorb® adsorption media canisters allow for quick media change-outs, which is essential on temporary flow-back applications or at remote locations.

The media is effective on all sources of mercury including organic types of mercury, mercury element (zero valent) and mercury ions (both I and II valent). When organic based mercury is involved, the adsorption mechanism of partition could be involved to enhance the chemical bonding.
It is noteworthy that the media will also be as effective as CrudeSorb® media to remove oil, grease and other organic contaminant molecules when needed. The media eventually will be spent when all of the adsorption sites are saturated. The actual media life will depend on the contaminated water compositions and the field operation conditions
